Mission

Our mission is to provide surgeons and other medical surgical staff with innovative and high quality surgical instruments and tools. We are committed to the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of our products and continue to place highest priority on customer service and responsiveness.

History

We have designed, manufactured, and marketed unique products since 1979. With our strong emphasis on superior quality systems, we were a frontrunner in achieving ISO-9001 compliance in the medical device manufacturing industry, earning certification in 1996.

Improvement of product and service quality continues to be our top goal. In early 1998, the company achieved certification to the EN 46001 international quality standard and European Medical Devices Directive, allowing product CE Marking. Today our products are marketed and sold worldwide.

Our company has passed many important milestones and achieved numerous key objectives:

We’ve been awarded a number of patents on new and innovative product designs, and most designs have been successfully converted to finished marketable products. Today our R&D efforts are reflected in the number of patent applications filed and the patent awards that we continue to receive.

Addition of a fully equipped CNC machine shop in 1999-2000 allowed us to bring mold design, mold manufacturing, and prototype and product machining in-house.

Expansion to 3-D modeling capabilities with the addition of Autodesk Inventor® and conversion to CNC milling code through EdgeCAM in 1999 provided near-full automation of design and prototype manufacturing, resulting in expanded R&D and product development capabilities.

Acquisition of Battenfeld molding machines in 1999 put us in position to fully integrate all development and manufacturing processes and to offer turn-key services to other companies.

Growth and expansion of business worldwide with product representation by industry leading marketers and distributors, backed up by a capable and growing Customer Service and Sales staff.
